Hosted pages

Every live form has its own page, at an address like wunderly.page/deck-quote-x7k2m: its title, then six letters and numbers chosen so none can be mistaken for another. Share the link, or put the same form on your own site (Add to a site).

What the page shows

  • A line at the top: "Your answers save as you go." Where a reminder is possible, it adds "If you don't finish, we may send one reminder."
  • The form's title, your workspace's name under it, then every question on one page.
  • At the bottom, "Made with Wunderly" (not on Pro or Agency) and "Report this form".

The share page

Share has the link (Copy link, Open the form) and the code to put the form on a site (Copy code). RSVP and signup forms also get personal links.

Saving as people type

Answers start saving at the first answer, and every change after it saves a moment later. A save that fails tries again. What's saved: the answers, an email if one was given, the question they stopped at, and the estimate. Never their IP address.

Answers that are never sent are deleted 30 days after the person last touched them. Sent answers stay until you delete them (Data and deletion).

Coming back later

On the same browser, the page picks up where they left off. On another device, the link in an email from the form does it: the estimate email and the reminder both end with "Pick up where you left off". They land on the question they stopped at, under "Welcome back — you were on question 4." with a Jump there link.

The only thing stored on their device is that resume link's token, and only on the page's own site. No cookies.

When they send it

The form is replaced by "Thanks, {name}." (or "Thanks.") and "Your answers are in." On an estimate form, the price is said again.

Closed and paused

A closed form says "This form is closed." If Wunderly pauses a form after a report, it says "This form is paused." and your share page tells you why and who to write to. Answers already sent are safe either way.

Free forms and one site

On Free, a form takes on the look of the first site that embeds it. On any other site it still works, in Wunderly's own look, and you get a notice. To move it, Share has "Move it to the next site that embeds it". On Pro and Agency, a form takes on the look of every site it's on.
