How to put a quote form on Squarespace

Last updated October 11, 2026

Squarespace's own form block collects the details of a job and emails them to you; for a price that shows as people answer, add a form that calculates one in a code block, which needs the Core plan or higher.

Facts checked on October 11, 2026, each against its source. Every number links to where it came from.

Squarespace's form block

It has the fields a quote request needs: name, email, phone, address, dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons, number, date, file upload and more.1 Submissions go to your email by default, and can also go to Squarespace's Contacts, a Google Drive spreadsheet, Mailchimp or Zapier. Every form needs at least one of those.2

Squarespace's help on form fields doesn't describe a field that works out a price: its number and currency fields take a value the visitor types. If you send prices yourself after reading the details, the form block is enough.

Adding a live price

A form that calculates goes in a code block. JavaScript in a code block needs the Core, Plus or Advanced plan3; Core is $39 a month, or $29 a month billed annually4.

With a Wunderly form:

  1. Build it from the Estimate template on the homepage and set your prices (the estimate block).
  2. Create it, then copy its code from Share.
  3. In Squarespace, edit the page, add a Code block, paste the code and save. The form takes on your site's fonts and colors (step by step).

People see the price change as they answer, and the email ask comes after it5. Your leak page lists everyone who got a price, left an email and didn't get in touch; one reminder to them is Pro, $29 a month6.
